Svitlana Gunchenko is a Ukrainian artist working in easel painting and graphic design. She was born in 1978 in Kyiv, where she now lives and works.

Her paintings follow the beautiful traditions of Ukrainian impressionism and express the artist’s love for landscapes, for the different states of nature, and for subtle nuances such as the first rays of the morning sun, the last glow of sunset, or the slowly dissolving morning fog. She portrays people—both adults and children—with care and skill, allowing us to easily feel their emotions, empathise with them, and admire them.
