This is the first work in my research on the trauma of generations. There are many
tragic events in Ukrainian history which have been passed on as traumatic experiences to
subsequent generations. As an example: the Holodomor, the war. I chose a woman breastfeeding her child as a symbol. The transmission of traumatic experience through breastfeeding, the formation of a new person, here we are talking not only about a physiological process, but also a mental one. This work is quite optimistic, considering that in the course of these events and now during the war entire families, several generations, have died.
