Description
Eclectic picture. The theme is inspired by the drawings of Edgar Degas, where he depicted women during ordinary rituals – bathing, combing hair, as if the viewer is a voyeur who quietly spies on the intimate moments. Compositionally, the drawing is closer to Futurism and Fauvism. The women’s bodies are deliberately decorative (an influence of Post-Impressionism), they are natural, a reference to the depiction of women from the tribes in Tahiti, portrayed and inspired by Paul Gauguin, he considered their nudity natural, without vulgarity, they are modern Evas.
