The title of the drawing translates from Latin as “Catch the moment, believe as little as possible in the future, it is a call to live each day with pleasure. The man’s face is clearer – he is trying to stop the moment. The girl’s face is blurred, she seems to slip away, thus there is a sense of the transience of the moment. No one and nothing belongs to us, so catch the moment. The drawing belongs to Expressionism, Symbolism, Abstraction and Fauvism.
