Minimalist still life with empty jugs, this is my memory of studying at Vitaly Lenchin’s studio.
This artist taught me a lot, but unfortunately he is not alive now. At that time I was inspired by post impressionism, specifically by Paul Cezanne. I was also inspired by Giorgio Morandi’s still lifes. Also in this work there is a noticeable Cubist influence, namely Picasso. The sides of the painting are painted with black acrylic. The back side of the picture is painted with white acrylic. The base is a wooden stretcher.
